The Eco-responsible Event You Cannot Miss This Spring
Already in its 21st year, Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert is a must-attend spring event for fans of healthy eating, ecology and global health. If you do not know this event yet, here are the best reasons why you must visit it this year.
1- Enjoy free tastings to discover new products
Samples of breads, jams, kombucha, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, vinaigrettes and healthy foods of all kinds are offered for tasting to the many visitors of Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert. Being able to taste more than 250 products for free is already a good enough reason to stop by!
2- Two weekends, two cities, the same great experience!
Celebrate Nutrition Month by visiting this spring's "healthy and flavorful" event. Choose the weekend or city you prefer: the Expo stops at the Québec City Convention Center on March 17 and 18, 2018 and at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from March 23 to 25.
3- Meet renowned specialists
The Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert brings together in one place the best resources for food, health and the environment. In addition to visiting the 350 exhibitors, visitors can attend workshops, conferences and culinary shows that will help them to improve their lifestyle and well-being.
It is also an opportunity to meet local businesses to exchange, ask questions and buy your favorite products directly from their stand. Here are the twenty exhibitors representing Aliments du Québec at the Expo :
• À fleur de pot
• Attitude Fraîche
• Canneberge Nutra-Fruit
• Ferme d'Achille
• Fromagerie Perron
• La Milanaise
• La Pincée

Moreover, 60 other companies throughout the aisles also offer products certified Aliments du Québec / Aliments du Québec Bio or Aliments préparés au Québec / Aliments préparés au Québec Bio. Look for it!
4- Support an eco-responsible event
Several actions are put in place by the Expo to offer a public event with minimal impact on the environment. For example, all items used for tastings are compostable, sorting of the waste is done to maximize composting and recycling, use of public transit and carpooling is encouraged, etc. So do not forget your reusable bags!
5- Choose organic & local food
At the Expo, we learn to cook "green" with the presence of local, organic and fair products, combining quality, flavor and respect for the environment. Thus, it is easy to find an increasingly diversified offer of local vegetarian or vegan, organic, GMO-free, gluten-free and natural foods. Eating local is then possible with all types of diets. To prioritize local organic food, locate the Aliments du Québec Bio and Aliments préparés au Québec Bio on the kiosks and directly on the products.
Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert is an uplifting event inspired by healthy and tasty food, that is increasingly organic and ecological, for a better future!
