To each meat its cut

All meats have their classic cuts. Nevertheless, it is interesting to explore the various options that each has to offer us. Apart from the ribs, the filet mignon and the chest, what do the pork, beef and poultry have in store?

Pork

Flank

The flank is a must on the BBQ. Grill on high heat for 5 minutes on each side, and then you get an excellent piece of meat that is rare and tender. For the service, thinly cut meat against the grain. A true delight!

Chop

Why are the chops so magical? Because you can serve them crispy on the outside and pink on the inside. Before grilling, pre-steam or slow cook the meat. The perfect method to prepare your chops as it should be!

Beef

Strip loin steak

Before cooking, be sure to take out your meat 30 to 60 minutes to let it rise at room temperature, and season well with a touch of olive oil and spices of your choice. Serve your steak how you want it cooked, but preferably rare to preserve the tenderness of the meat. Enjoy your meal!

Undercut

The under, what? Yes, the undercut! This part of meat located in the chest region  offers a tenderness that surpasses that of the flank. When cooked half-rare, the undercut of beef is a piece full of flavors that deserve to be explored!

Poultry

Whole wing

To ensure a better taste, let marinate your wings for 8 to 24 hours in your favorite marinade. When cooking, reserve some marinade to brush your wings before removing them from the fire. To have the perfect result, leave on the grill for a dozen minutes on each side.

Top of thigh

Are you more like breast or thigh? Why not the top of thigh? This part of the chicken, often forgotten, can be cooked in a few easy steps on the barbecue:

  1. Warm the grill at a high temperature;
  2. Place your thighs on an oiled aluminum foil for about 10 minutes;
  3. Continue cooking for 25 minutes over low heat.

Tip: Remove your meat from the grill 5 degrees before the desired cooking, because the chicken continues to cook during rest time.

Ground meat

The best thing about the burger option is its diversity. Pork, beef and poultry are all meats that can be grounded. So, whatever your desires, you can prepare burgers in your own way!

CAUTION: Always ensure meat is completely cooked before serving, whatever type of meat you choose.
