BBQ Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) brown sugar
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) chili powder
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) powdered mustard
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) garlic powder
  • 1 ml (1/4 tsp) cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 270 g (4) Nagano pork chops, one inch thick, with bone, degreased

 

Preparation

  1. Preheat the barbecue to medium-high intensity. Clean and oil the grill.
  2. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the rub. Set aside.
  3. Coat and rub each of the chops with the spices. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours for more flavor.
  4. Place the meat on the barbecue grill, roast 4 to 5 minutes on each side for a medium cooking.
  5. Let the meat rest 5 minutes before serving.
