5 activities to help you savour spring

When the temperature starts to rise, it’s impossible to resist the call of the great outdoors! To help you make the most of the season, we’ve compiled a list of five activities to put a real “spring” in your step!

Visit a sugar shack

The quintessential Québec experience!  We live in the world capital of maple syrup, so why not make the trip to your local sugar shack a yearly event? Put on your favourite plaid shirt and get together with the whole family to create an entire day’s worth of sweet memories.

Take a spa day

Who doesn’t love relaxing in a hot tub to the gentle sound of bird song? A spa day is the perfect spring activity. And the warmer weather makes hopping between hot and cold pools a breeze.

Take a walk in the forest

Cabin fever season is over, the sun is out, and the many hiking trails across Québec are starting to emerge from the melting snow. After a long walk in the mountains, who doesn’t deserve a treat? Délicouki cookies are the perfect snack for explorers like you! Individually wrapped, they’re easy to pack and ideal for enjoying in the great outdoors. Refuel on the go with these delicious oatmeal cookies made with chocolate or quinoa and cranberry.

Make spring cleaning a family event

It’s time for the yearly spring cleaning! It’s probably not be the most popular item on your to-do list, so why not turn this chore into a family activity? Kids and adults alike can pitch in, making weekend housework a more enjoyable (and quicker!) task. Spend time with the family and end up with a clean house — a great way to kill two birds with one stone!

Spring skiing

The snow may be retreating, but there are still a few weeks left to plan a ski weekend. Now’s your chance to ditch the parka and hit the slopes in your comfiest sweater. Time to tune up your skis and take advantage of that final snowfall to enjoy this classic winter sport.
