6 Homemade Salad Dressings
Mother Nature may still be hibernating, but spring is right around the corner and warmer temperatures are on their way. Hearty salads can help to brighten the seasonal gloom and tide you over until the mercury rises again, so why not try these refreshing ideas for dressings courtesy of Aliments du Québec?
Combine olive oil, raspberry vinegar, crushed fresh raspberries and a splash of maple syrup. The result is a twist on a strawberry vinaigrette that goes perfectly on lamb’s lettuce and grated beets sprinkled with sunflower seeds and dried cranberries.

Combine mayonnaise, plain fat-free yogurt, Dijon mustard, maple syrup and freshly ground pepper. This is the ideal dressing for a grilled chicken salad with sliced strawberries and brie.
