Miel Boréal is a beekeeping business operated by Rodolphe and Émilie, located in the heart of the boreal region, at La Doré, in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean (Quebec). Our production territory benefits from an environment protected by its very snowy winter and its geographic distance, which allows us to have a reasoned and ecologically responsible agriculture. In addition, plants under stress will produce molecules that have health benefits, and generally have a sweeter nectar. All of these conditions allow our bees, in exchange for our care and protection, to produce boreal honey, while having a healthy environment for their development and survival, essential for the pollination of most of our food. Thus, we have given ourselves the mission, to make you discover specific honeys of the boreal soil in their rawest state possible, while having practices respectful of the environment and our allies, the bees, as if you were tasting the honey directly in the hive!
