Burundian coffee is one of the world's coffees regularly awarded for its particular taste and aroma. Located in the Great Lakes region of Africa, burundian hills offer exceptional geographical and climate conditions for Arabica coffee farming. At harvest time, the producers, often grouped in cooperatives, have the coffee cherries processed at a washing station in their region.
